Founded by Colleen Tighe Johnson a proud Gomeroi Yinarr from Moree, BULUUY MIRRII (Black Star in her Gamilaraay language) operates at the intersection of fashion and cultural transmission. Dreaming stories translated through print, sound, and form are developed through collaboration with artists. Each collection carries authorship and context, extending from Country to international runways.

AFC Australian Fashion Week enters a new chapter.
In 2026, we take up residence at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia in Sydney’s Circular Quay, placing Australian design at the heart of contemporary culture.
The @mca_australia will provide an iconic Sydney backdrop for the central hub, with activations taking place across the city.
