Site access
You can access the MCA via the George Street entrance, The Rocks, or through lift access via Circular Quay West. All public areas of the museum, including the MCA Store, MCA Cafe and restaurant and galleries are accessible via lifts. To arrange accessible seating, please contact productionoffice@ausfashioncouncil.com
Transport & Parking
Parking is available a short distance from the Museum at Wilson Parking, 155 George Street, The Rocks. Enter via George Street where the Cahill Expressway crosses over George Street.
More parking can be found at Wilson Parking Grosvenor Place, 225 George Street, The Rocks.
Free street parking is available on Argyle and Harrington Streets. This is subject to availability on the day.
City of Sydney mobility parking information can be found on the City of Sydney website.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available from the Information Desk on Level 1. Free to borrow with a valid ID.
Accessible toilets
Accessible toilets are located on Levels 2, 3, 4 and 6, and are also available in the National Centre for Creative Learning (Level 3). An accessible toilet and Parents’ Room are located on Ground Level. All-gender toilets are available on Level 2. .
Paper towel dispensers are available in all accessible toilets as a sensory-friendly alternative to automatic hand dryers.
Drinking fountain
A drinking fountain is available on Ground Level.
Seating
Benches can be found throughout the Museum. If you require mobile seating, please ask a member of staff.
Guide dogs and service assistance animals
Guide dogs and service assistance animals are welcome throughout the MCA. Water is available at the information desk on Level 1. Green spaces are located on the Circular Quay side of the MCA.
