    AFC Australian Fashion Week arrives at Carriageworks in Sydney, 12-16 May 2025.

    Whilst all the runway shows are invitation only, we welcome the general public to visit The Studio space. In The Studio, the general public will have access to brand activations as well as screens that are live-streaming all the runway shows.

    TRAIN

    A short walk from a nearby station – 8 mins from Redfern, 10 minutes from Macdonaldtown or 15 minutes from Newtown.

    BUS

    A 5 minute walk from the City Road bus stop at Sydney University. Take routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370 or 352.

    BIKE

    Find bike racks on Wilson Street, at the top of the stairs near the Carriageworks main entrance.

    PARKING

    Valet parking will be available for visitors, guests and staff and can be booked through Gieves.

    Flat rate of $44 (GST incl) pre-booked and pre-paid per space per day, or $55 (GST incl) pay-on-arrival. All pre-paid bookings are to be finalised by 3pm the day prior to your booking.

    Site access

    An access ramp leading to the main entrance is located at street level at 245 Wilson Street. Most venues within the AFC Australian Fashion Week precinct have level access. If you are attending a runway show, raked seating may be in place. To arrange accessible seating, please contact productionoffice@new-moon.com

    Transport & Parking

    Accessible parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way (enter via 229 Wilson Street).

    Taxis and rideshare services can enter at 229 Wilson Street for level access entry.

    The closest train station with wheelchair access is Redfern Station, which has recently undergone upgrades to improve accessibility. However, Platforms 11 and 12 (Eastern Suburbs Railway and Illawarra Line) are only accessible via stairs or an escalator. Read more here.

    How do I become a Delegate?

    AFC Australian Fashion Week is an invitation-only event. Delegates can apply for accreditation to attend runway shows, trade showrooms and networking opportunities here. 

    Registrations for accreditation close Monday 14 April 2025. 

    Can I volunteer at AFC Australian Fashion Week?

    Yes. Anyone over the age of 18 can apply to be a volunteer. There are Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) opportunities available. Apply to be a volunteer here. 

    Applications close Friday 18 April 2025. The AFC Australian Fashion Week Volunteer Manager will be in touch with successful applicants on Monday 28th April with a link to the official roster.
