AFC Australian Fashion Week arrives at MCA in Sydney, 11-15 May 2026.
Whilst most runway shows are invitation only, we welcome the general public to register The Fashion Pass and consumer shows when they become available. Be first to know by signing up to the AFW newsletter here.
A short walk from a nearby train station – 4 mins from Circular Quay Station, 8 minutes from Wynyard or 12 minutes from Martin Place.
A short walk from a nearby Metro – 12 mins from Martin Place or 13 minutes walk from Barangaroo.
- 333: North Bondi to City Circular Quay via Bondi Junction. (24-hour service).
- 304: Circular Quay to Green Square (Loop Service).
- 343: City Circular Quay to Kingsford.
- 324/325: Watsons Bay to Walsh Bay via Old South Head Road.
- 396: Circular Quay to Maroubra Beach.
- Lines: L2 Randwick Line and L3 Kingsford Line.Location: Alfred Street, adjacent to the Circular Quay Ferry Wharves and Railway Station.
Bike parking is available along the foreshore of Circular Quay at the southern end of the Museum.
Nearby parking is available at the 155 George St Car Park and the Clocktower Car Park.

Enter the MCA via George St or Circular Quay West. All public areas within the Museum are accessible via lifts.

Yes. Anyone over the age of 18 can apply to be a volunteer. There are Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) opportunities available. Apply to be a volunteer here.
Applications close Friday 18 April 2025. The AFC Australian Fashion Week Volunteer Manager will be in touch with successful applicants on Monday 28th April with a link to the official roster.
Whilst all the runway shows are invitation only, we welcome the general public to visit The Studio space. In The Studio, the general public will have access to brand activations as well as screens that are live-streaming all the runway shows.
