Miimi & Jiinda

Miimi & Jiinda was born from the close bond between a Gumbaynggirr mother and daughter. Founder Melissa, the creative director, paints original artworks inspired by her Gumbaynggirr culture and designs the clothing, which she prints onto fabric creating stunning wearable art. Her creations transition seamlessly into high-fashion, sustainable garments. Collaborating with master weaver Lauren, who crafts intricate adornments to enhance Melissa’s designs, they add texture and depth to each collection. Together, they produce distinctive pieces that beautifully merge fine art with fashion, celebrating their heritage and creativity.
