    AFC Australian Fashion Week 2025

    GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

    When is AFC Australian Fashion Week 2025 taking place?

    AFC Australian Fashion Week 2025 runs from Monday, May 12 to Friday, May 16, 2025, in Sydney, NSW at Carriageworks, Eveleigh, and select offsite venues. Full schedule available here; travel info here.

    What is AFC Australian Fashion Week?

    AFC Australian Fashion Week is Australia’s premier fashion event, showcasing the best of local design talent through runway shows, presentations, and trade exhibitions.

    What is the schedule for 2025?

    Can anyone attend the fashion shows?

    Only registered delegates are eligible to receive an invite to the shows. If you’d like to attend a particular show, please reach out to the designer’s press contact listed on the designer pages here.

    How long will each show go for?

    Please allow at least 1 hour per show. Your invitation will include exact timings. For offsite shows, arrive 30 minutes prior to start time; for onsite shows, 15 minutes early is advised.

    Are there any other events happening at AFC Australian Fashion Week in addition to the runway shows?

    Yes. Additional events will be announced on the schedule and visit pages. To attend, you must be a registered delegate or Fashion Pass holder. More information about the Fashion Pass coming soon. 

    Which designers are showing at AFC Australian Fashion Week 2025?

    There are 30+ designers participating in AFC Australian Fashion Week 2025, selected by the AFC Fashion Week Advisory Committee. You can find out more about participating designers here.

    DELEGATES

    I’m a registered delegate, can I go to any show during the week?

    All shows are invitation only. As a registered delegate, you will receive invites directly from the designers. If you’d like to attend a particular show, please reach out to the designer’s press contact listed on the designer pages here.

    What is The Atelier?

    The Atelier is an onsite trade show, presented by Splash. Taking place May 14–15 at Carriageworks. The Atelier will deliver an unparalleled B2B experience, bringing together premium Australian designers, international buyers, and industry leaders. Register here.

    I am a registered delegate – how do I get my delegate pass or lanyard?

    All information about how to activate your delegate pass will be shared via email with registered delegates. Please check your email for updates.

    What’s the difference between a delegate and Fashion Pass holder?

    Delegates are industry professionals and media with access to industry events and shows. Fashion Pass holders can access the onsite public area — The Studio — where anyone who is registered can visit public activations. More information on the Fashion Pass coming soon.

    Is there parking?

    Will there be merchandise or designer clothes available to buy?

    No items of clothing or merchandise are available to purchase at AFC Australian Fashion Week. However, wholesale enquiries can be made at The Atelier.

    Is there Wi-Fi available onsite?

    Yes. Wi-Fi is available onsite at Carriageworks.

    Is there a mobile app for Australian Fashion Week?

    No. For updates, please visit our website.

    MEDIA AND PHOTOGRAPHY

    I am a media delegate – is there a space on site to work from?

    All media delegates will have access to the Media Room. More information coming soon.

    VOLUNTEERS

    Can I still apply to be a volunteer?

    Volunteer applications close April 18.  Apply to become a volunteer here.

    I applied to be a volunteer but have not received a roster?

    Due to a high volume of applications, successful volunteers will be contacted via email with their roster. Final rosters will be shared on May 2. If you have applied and have been confirmed as a successful applicant, please check your junk or spam folder just in case. If you still haven’t received anything, feel free to reach out to volunteers@ausfashioncouncil.com.
